Newsletter: Week of October 23rd

Hello Parents,

Happy Monday! Thank you all for the wonderful conferences last week. There is nothing like actually sitting down and catching up on the accomplishments of our Firsties and setting goals for the year! Please know that you can email me anytime with questions or thoughts regarding your student. I hope you were able to stay cool today. We did our best here. Regardless of the heat we had a productive and fun day!

A few quick reminders about the week:

Bake Sale - Tomorrow is our class bake sale. If you are sending donation items please drop them off in our classroom or the office in the morning. If you are coming to help sell goodies, we can use you at either 10am or 12pm. Thanks in advance for all the help!

Book Reports - Book reports are due Wednesday and we will share a few reports each day this week in class. Students are invited to dress as their book character on Halloween Day which is after they have done their presentation.

Red Ribbon Week - Red Ribbon Week begins on Wednesday. I attached a copy of the calendar to this week’s homework packet. Both of those documents are also attached to this post. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Field Trip Permission Slip & Class Shirts - Thank you to the families, who have already returned their field trip forms. If you have not had a chance to sign yours please do so as soon as possible. I also sent home your class t-shirt order forms. please send those back as soon as possible with your student’s t-shirt size so that we can put in the order.

Thank you all for the incredible work that you do daily for your little learners. I genuinely appreciate it and they do too.

Sincerely,

Miss C
